1143. Longest Common Subsequence

Given two strings text1 and text2, return *the length of their longest common subsequence. *If there is no common subsequence, return 0.

A subsequence of a string is a new string generated from the original string with some characters (can be none) deleted without changing the relative order of the remaining characters.

  • For example, "ace" is a subsequence of "abcde".

A common subsequence of two strings is a subsequence that is common to both strings.

Example 1:

Constraints:

  • 1 <= text1.length, text2.length <= 1000
  • text1 and text2 consist of only lowercase English characters.

思路:

题目让求两个字符串的最大公共子序列长度,用动态规划来做,遍历两个字符串,状态转移方程:当A字符串的i位和B字符串的j位相同时候:取前一位的最优解 1 也就是A[i] = B[j] 的时候,dp[i][j] = dp[i][j] 1。 当不相同的时候,那么只需要把A字符串0~i的最优解或者B字符串0~j的最优解继承下来就行,就是dp[i][j] = max(dp[i][j-1], dp[i-1][j])。 需要注意的是这里的边界情况,可以把存状态的数组都比两个字符串大一点,就能保证走到字符串长度的时候不越界。
